The site collects little: audience statistics through Google Analytics and Hotjar, what you send through the contact form, and the technical logs of the hosting provider.

Who is responsible

The site is run by an individual publisher, Amaury (see the legal notice), who decides how the data described below is used. The publisher can be reached through the contact form, including for any request about your data.

Which rules apply

  • Visitors in the European Union: the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, because the site measures how visitors in the Union use it (GDPR art. 3(2)(b)).
  • Visitors in the United Kingdom: the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) apply.
  • Visitors in the United States: the site does not sell personal information. You can ask, through the contact form, which data the site holds about you, and ask for it to be deleted.

Who receives the data, and where

  • Google, for audience measurement with Google Analytics. The Google tags also send requests to Google advertising domains (stats.g.doubleclick.net and google.<country>/ads/ga-audiences), so Google Analytics advertising features, such as remarketing audiences, or Google signals may be in use. Google may process this data outside your country; its own privacy policy explains how.
  • Hotjar, for how pages are used; its own privacy policy explains how it handles this data.
  • The email service that delivers contact form messages to the publisher: a third-party email delivery service.
  • Vercel, the hosting provider named in the legal notice, for the server logs. Vercel is based in the United States and processes data there and in other countries.

The publisher is established outside the European Union and the United Kingdom, so the messages you send through the contact form are read and kept outside them.

When you follow a link to another site, such as Amazon, TradingView or a course provider, that site applies its own privacy policy and cookies.

To opt out:

  • Block or delete the cookies of this site in your browser settings.
  • Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: according to Google, it stops Google Analytics scripts from sending information about your visits to Google Analytics.
  • Control how Google personalizes ads in My Ad Center.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, you can ask to access your data (art. 15), correct it (art. 16), erase it (art. 17), restrict its processing (art. 18), receive it in a portable format (art. 20) and object to its processing (art. 21). Send your request through the contact form.

If you think your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint (GDPR art. 77): in the European Union, with the data protection authority of your country; in the United Kingdom, with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
